I come from the scuba diving community so, when you say dry bag, I think of a rubberized bag that is at least a few millimeters thick and is of a heavy duty construction. I was a bit surprised when I saw the Lone Rider dry bags. They are lightweight, made with ripstop and have a waterproof membrane inside. Once I thought about it, their construction makes perfect sense. Their function is to keep the contents dry or to keep wet/dirty clothes separate from clean clothes. Also, they will be stored in your motobags or in your Overlander bag for protection. Although, you can strap them anywhere on your bike with no issues. I have both the 10L and 20L bags and they work great. They have the roll down fasteners like the motobags. Like the packing cubes, they add almost no weight to your bike.
