Very well made: I hope they will resist boots and other shocks better than the BMW ones… also, expecting them to be waterproof for longer trips.

Took this for a first ride from Ontario to PEI and love the bags. For me, one side was rokstraps and a spare dry bag and on the other I had my rain gear. Worked flawlessly but in a heavy rain, they do let some water in so be aware you will need to open them and let them dry.

After purchasing the GS headlight guard I knew Lone Rider gear was for me. High quality and looks great on the bike. Recent purchase was the frame bags. These are perfect for my bike. Fit great. Nice extra storage space and as an added benefit it pads right at my ankle for additional comfort. Looking forward to adding more Lone Rider gear.

The Lone Rider frame bags have made a nice addition to my GSA providing a little extra room for carrying small essentials at a lower point on the bike. Love how they look. They’ve done a nice job in limiting how far the bags expand so that they don’t get in the way of your boots when your feet are on the pegs, which I was a little concerned about. They were a bit challenging to attach with the Velcro around frame tubing that isn’t readily exposed, so I don’t see taking them on/off regularly. But love using this space and the bags are staying clean inside, and dry to this point.
I've just received these and installed them on my bike today. The install was a bit finicky trying to get the Velcro straps at the front tight and lined up correctly. I had to take the battery cover off, the corresponding cover on the other side, the rear master cylinder, and both heel guards off to make the install easier. Once they are on, they look great and add some extra storage. As you can tell from the photo I was in much need of, lol. I can't speak to their watertightness, but if they are as good as all of Lone Riders other bags it shouldn't be a problem. There's no interference with the rider, not sure about the passenger but it doesn't look like there will be. Great bags that makes wasted space usable.
These bags are really useful to carry with you sunglasses, wallet, home keys, garage remote and even a walkie-talkie. Right under you leg, easy reach and access while riding. Awesome addition!
Fit on GSA 1250 awesome fits gloves and reader glasses wallet or small items great. I did not want a tank bag great accessory

I sent mine back. Not because of the quality because they are excellent quality. Trying to fit them to my R1200 GSA was a nightmare. The straps and positioning is awful, also if you have a mudsling that makes it even worse because of where the mudsling sits. I decided that they were just not for me even though they really did look good and the quality was great. The fitting was just not good and almost impossible to get a nice snug 'tight' fit.

I own every bag that Lone Rider makes and the quality of each bag is superior. Aside from its quality, the first thing I noticed about the frame bags is the thick insulation to protect the contents from the engine heat. Kudos to Lone Rider. Even fully packed, these bags do not stick out enough to interfere with your leg movement when riding, which is important to me. The velcro straps keep them secure even when fully loaded and riding off-road. Great job!
Theses bags are awesome and they look good to.
Ordered these just to have a nice place to stash specific items. This allows me to compartmentalize things for longer trips. I try to minimize my gear as well and dedicate my panniers, top box and one duffle for most trips. Anxious to put these frame bags to use and see what I will put in them for ease of use abs access.
