The Lon Reader side bags are one of the most useful accessories I’ve added to my motorcycle. They provide a lot of extra storage space, which is extremely practical for carrying tools, clothes, camping gear, or everyday essentials during longer rides and adventures.
What makes them even better is their dual purpose. Besides offering great packing capacity, they also work as excellent side protection on rough off-road terrain. When the motorcycle falls to the side, the bags help absorb the impact and protect both the bike and rider from more serious damage. This gives extra confidence while riding on challenging trails and uneven terrain.
Durable, practical, and reliable — these bags are not just storage equipment, but also an important layer of protection for adventure riding. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys touring and off-road riding.
Keep up the great work guys!
I mounted the mini bags to a True North Motos rack on a Husqvarna FE501S. So far, I have only ridden around the block, but I do not expect any issues with the bags because they seem to be very durable and waterproof. I like that I didn't have to use any extra straps because the bag has ample straps attached.
I used it as a tail bag for my tools, spare tubes and other everyday care things on my T7. So far - works perfect, and very important it does not leak on trails or while washing after a ride.
Perfect for storing tools, a first aid kit, or rain gear without opening the main bags.
Just like the large bags, these are 100% waterproof and incredibly abrasion-resistant.
I've packed my rain gear inside and I always keep it with me on the motorcycle in case I need it. It's very convenient, and it has the perfect size and capacity.
