The System
Overview
The ADVBags combine a flexible base plate system with two integrated holsters for the side dry bags. On top, a removable Beaver Tail offers multiple anchor points and integrated pockets for documents and smaller gear. It can also be removed to fit for example our Tail Pack or Explorer bag.
The system attaches to your bike with six replaceable straps and non-slip, stainless steel cam buckles. All plastic buckles are magnetic for easy, glove-friendly use.
Each holster includes a compression strap to keep things secure, even when lightly packed. With six MOLLE panels and weight-rated loops, the ADVBags are ready for add-ons like bottle holders or tool rolls: built for adventure, right out of the box.
Base
The foundation of the ADVBags system is a three-piece base plate that bolts together into a solid, unified structure. This modular design allows for a universal fit across a wide range of bikes, adapting easily to different seat shapes and rear frame layouts. The base secures to the bike using six attachment straps, all fully replaceable in case of wear or damage.
To protect your bike, each section of the base includes soft, replaceable padding that sits between the plate and the bike. However, we do recommend applying a protective film to the contact areas on your bike. If gravel, wet sand, or other debris gets caught between the ADVBags and your plastics, it can scratch the paint or dull the surface over time.
Along the sides, you’ll find multiple anchor points integrated directly into the structure, ideal for mounting accessory bags, bottle holders, or other add-ons you might need on longer rides. It’s a stable, low-profile base built to handle tough terrain without compromising flexibility or function.
Dry bags
The ADVBags system includes two 25 L side dry bags and one 20 L top dry bag, all built from durable, waterproof materials and designed for tough use on and off the bike.
Each side bag features a Super Seal closure that keeps dust and water out, even when rolled imperfectly. Air release valves make it easy to compress the bags tightly, while a pull strap at the bottom helps you seat them fully into the holsters for a clean, secure fit. Magnetic buckles keep closures quick and glove-friendly, and integrated carry handles make them easy to grab and go. A clear window on each bag allows for a quick visual check of your gear without unpacking.
The top bag offers even more flexibility with dual Super Seal openings for easy access from either side. It also includes an air release valve for compact packing and a bungee cord panel on top for stashing rain gear or anything you want to access quickly. Two carrying handles and stowable backpack straps make it easy to take with you off the bike, whether you’re heading into camp or just grabbing essentials.
Extras
Every set of ADVBags comes with a set of smart extras to extend fitment options and cover unexpected needs on the trail.
An aluminum Heat Shield is included to protect the bags from high-mounted exhausts—easy to install and compatible with most dual sport setups. For bikes that need custom mounting points, you’ll find two closed and two open Anchors, giving you flexibility to create secure strap points where needed.
The kit also includes a spare attachment strap and a spare compression strap, so you’re covered in case of loss or damage during travel. And for riders carrying a tent, the included tent pole bag fits neatly between the Top Bag and Beaver Tail—keeping your setup clean and balanced without forcing you to squeeze poles into your dry bags.

Do the ADVBags fit YOUR bike? Yes - thanks to a universal attachment system that uses six replaceable straps with non-slip buckles, ADVBags can be mounted on almost any bike.
To install them, your bike just needs:
- One attachment point at the rear (like a luggage rack or fender brace)
- Two side attachment points where the subframe meets the main frame (usually the passenger footpeg brackets)
If you ride a dual-sport and don’t have a solid mounting point at the rear, you can use the included metal anchors to create your own attachment points.

J'ai particulièrement apprécié la facilité de montage et d'installation sur la moto, même sans support spécifique. À l'usage, le poids est parfaitement réparti et reste positionné vers le bas, ce qui est idéal. Le système de fixation est ingénieux et la modularité est remarquable grâce au système MOLLE, qui permet d'ajouter de nombreux accessoires. Grâce aux bon conseils de l'équipe d'assistance Lone Rider, j'ai pu installer les ADV BAGS 70 sur ma VOGE 525 DSX Black Knight. J'avais un peu peur de la position de mon pot d'echappement mais tout se positionne parfaitement bien! Je suis vraiment ravi de cet achat et je vais pouvoir partir tranquille en voyage! Je remercie une nouvelle fois l'équipe d'assistance pour toute l'aide apportée car ils ont réellement fait des recherches pour savoir si les sacoches allaient bien s'installer sur la moto et ont su me rassurer. Si je devais donner un seul point negatif sur le produit c est qu'une fois bien chargée, les manœuvres peuvent etre un peu plus complexes avec la moto car il n y a presque plus de point d'appuis/d'accroche pour effectuer une marche arrière (à côté de la moto) mais sinon RAS. A voir ce que tout cela donnera au fil des roadtrips.

Ensemble léger, résistant, parfaitement étanche et pratique à utiliser. Il faut prendre le temps pour bien les adapter et ajuster les sangles à la moto lors du 1er montage mais une fois en place, ça ne bouge pas, même sur des pistes très cassantes. Les adv sont bien conçues, avec une système de fixation pour la tente sur l’arrière et la possibilité de rajouter de la bagagerie MOLE au dessus ou sous les supports latéraux. Le volume total répartie sur 3 sacs au lieu de 2 grandes sacoches classiques permet d’accèder facilement au matériel. Il faut juste changer ses habitudes. En contrepartie l’accès sous la selle est moins simple mais en desserrant simplement les 2 sangles arr, j’arrive à retirer la selle en la faisant glisser par l’arrière de la 800 DE. Très bon produit qui dispose d’un volume adapté pour partir sereinement en voyage, sur plusieurs semaines!

Just got both bags installed on my 2025 Yamaha Tenere 700 and my wife's 2024 honda Rally 300. They fit like a glove, there is so much room for all our activity gear.
