Tom Barrer is a French motorcycle instructor, content creator and adventure rider. He has been uploading to YouTube since November 2012, and his channel is now one of the most followed adventure moto destinations in the French speaking world. The content mixes long road trips, off road exploration, riding tutorials and a celebrity challenge series shot on trail bikes.
Tom is the official Suzuki V-Strom pilot in France. He runs the Tom Barrer Academie near Narbonne, the official Suzuki riding school, which trains complete beginners on their first off road sessions and helps experienced riders get bike fit before big trips. Sessions run on Suzuki V-Strom 800DE and 1050DE.
Tom is also a long term gear development partner with Lone Rider. He tests products to their breaking point before they reach the market. He is the founder of the Lone Rider Trophy, a one week off road challenge. The first edition ran from 01 to 07 February 2026 from Agadir, Morocco, covering roughly 1,400 km across dunes, mountains and desert tracks, and brought together 80 riders on three difficulty levels (green, red, black).
