I purchased the semi rigid motorbags. They're great quality and they look awesome. The right side though had alignment and mounting problems. I reached out to Lone rider and they took care of it right away. They sent me new plate, new lock and hardware. It's nice to see that there still companies out there that they're taking pride of their product. I won't hesitate to buy more products from them. Thank you!!!

Great bags, durable and rugged. Stood up to lots of bangs and scrapes (and a few falls) going through the mountains and desert. Love the easy on-off option for the whole system.

Cet été, j’ai fais l’achat de MotoBags 31 et 38 litres pour ma BMW R1200GSA et j’ai été très satisfait de la qualité du produit, autant au niveau de la conception, que dans le choix des matériaux. J’ai également eu droit à un service client exceptionnel! Pour des raisons personnelles , j’ai dû annuler ma première commande. Dès l’instant où ce fût fait, j’ai reçu un remboursement complet sans qu’aucune justification de ma part ne soit exigée. Quelques jours plus tard, j’ai de nouveau passé ma commande sans problème. Lors de la réception de mes MotoBags, bien que les colis est été très bien emballé, une boucle de plastique c’était cassée lors du transport. J’ai fais part de la situation à Lone Rider, qui m’a immédiatement envoyé une pièce de remplacement sans aucune argumentation et sans aucun frais, bien que je sois résident du Québec au Canada. Sincèrement, je suis plus que satisfait de la qualité de mes MotoBags et de mon expérience avec Lone Rider! Je recommande leurs produits sans hésiter! 😀

Super bagage de moto avec en plus le déclenchement rapide. Elles contiennent beaucoup et sont très belles en plus. Il n’y en a pas beaucoup au Canada en ce moment mais elles attirent l’oeil à tout coup. Bravo LoneRider.
The new MotoBag locking quick release system is exactly what was missing from the original MotoBags. Retrofitting the original models was pretty straightforward and installation was smooth.
I have both hard panniers and the Lone Rider panniers. There is a time and place for both. I got the LR set before they had quick release. I am very happy I now can swap between the 2 systems. The instructions (video) and the conversation was easy to do. The lock and system is great and I am using it more often.
I have loved these bags since the day that I got them, having the removable mounting plates is the icing on the cake! Its so clean and simple to remove the bags, like when you wash the bike. This system certainly puts the LR Moto bags in a class all to themselves. Dave
received the quick release system in June. Used the original bags until then. Removed the off set attachment since I´m using flat Touratech racks. First of all: The transition from "old" original system to the quick release system was done in no time. The time consuming part was to remove the old system. Secondly: I haven´t put it on the scale... But I experience the whole set up as extremely much lighter than before. The old set up was more or less the same weight as my Touratech Aluminum panniers (Not using them anymore...) But now.. It feels like "nothing". Amazing improvement. Used the new system for 5000 km now. On- and Off Road. Havent´t seen or experienced any flaws even on very poor off the grid routes. They are just great. (Why didn´t you come up with the idea right away?) Ask Anna and Andrew at Lone Rider. I´m not easy to please, but I just love the new system. When doing challenging off road routes, I just leave the motobags at Base camp. Removal and attachment is done in a couple of seconds. Well done Lone Rider.

Easy peasy to load/unload my Motobags. Few seconds and am done.
Loading and unloading of my Motobags is now very convenient. A little set back, quiet a challenge to secure the lock. Have to squeeze my hand in between the pillion handle to lock/unlock the key.

Le piastre di fissaggio Lone Rider sono le migliori piastre che abbia avuto modo di montare. Sono robuste, durano nel tempo, la qualità delle plastiche rinforzate in resina da molto la sensazione di solidarietà e soprattutto sono regolabili. Ho modificato una borsa Lone Rider motobag da 45L non più in produzione, e grazie a questa piastra ho fatto l'upgrade per montarla in combinazione con le motobags di 31L e 38L.

My Moto bags served me well recently on the New Mexico BDR. I did have the hardware on the locking mechanism fail though and I needed to use a rock strap to complete the trip with the bags. Upon returning I email Lone rider and they did respond right away with help and the parts I needed to rebuild my bags. Since I did have the opportunity to rebuild my bags I notice a few things that might help others when assembling the bags that might make a huge difference in how they perform. I will make a video and share this when I get a chance. Thanks for the help LR.
Love the product what I did not like is the information of what and how the product should suit a GSA 1250 straight out of the box when it didn't on the R/H Side after much adjustment I made it fit but I think the website needs to be updated or the product?
The design of these plates save me from great harm. I clipped a big rig truck on my right side saddle bag with a truck on both sides of me. Traveling thirty mph the only way out from being in a accident was going straight. The saddle bag caught the wheel and the backing plate peeled back about 30 Degrees. If I had my hard cases on it would have thrown me into the big rig ( not good). The cost to fix the bag was small and Lone Rider took good care of me. Now preparing for a 5 week motorcycle adventure to Alaska.
