Capitaine Morgan is the long-haul storyteller of French adventure motorcycling.
Morgan Bernoux, known on the road as Capitaine Morgan, has spent more than fifteen years travelling the world and turning his journeys into films. His breakout YouTube series, La Route de la Soie, followed a 20,000 km ride from Paris to India on fully loaded Honda Transalps, no electronics, no backup, and remains one of the most watched French-language motorcycle travel series.
His latest expedition raised the bar again: 20 months and 65,000 km around Africa, from South Africa up the east coast to Kenya and back along the Atlantic to Morocco, riding a Yamaha Ténéré 700 alongside his partner Margaux on a Honda CB500X. It was his third tour of the continent. When he rolled back into Paris in September 2024, some 250 motorcycles turned out to escort him over the final 100 km.
That adventure now feeds his most ambitious project yet: a documentary world tour series covering 50 countries, 4 continents and 100,000 km, released episode by episode to a community of more than 70,000 subscribers. Reporter, mechanic and narrator in one, Morgan tells the story of the world from the seat of a motorcycle: the people, the breakdowns, the borders and everything in between.
